Restaurant Galeasen
In the heart of the stunning Åland archipelago, Restaurant Galeasen offers an authentic taste of local life, where delicious food meets breathtaking views. This charming restaurant is just a short walk from the guest harbor and serves as a peaceful retreat for those seeking a relaxing dining experience. Galeasen takes pride in using locally sourced ingredients.
The restaurant’s cozy interior seats about 80 guests, with a sunny terrace accommodating up to 50 people. From here, you can enjoy the calm waters while watching the sunset cast its golden glow over the harbor. For an extra touch of relaxation, there is even a small beach right next to the terrace.
Opening hours
At the beginning of the season in May, the restaurant operates as the harbour office, offering a limited selection of beverages and café products.
During the first weekend of June, the kitchen is open on Friday and Saturday. From Friday, 12 June, we will be open daily until 16 August. Please see the box alongside for detailed opening hours.
We also welcome groups by prior reservation.

Kitchen open from 12:00 to 19:30.
From August 17 onwards
The restaurant is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 12:00 to 20:00.
The harbour office and café are open on weekdays, but the kitchen is closed.
