Welcome to Lappo in Brändö municipality in the Åland Islands. Here you can enjoy beautiful nature and everything else the archipelago has to offer. As a visitor to Lappo you will find all the amenities you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, whether you arrive by boat, bicycle, car or on foot!
If you travel by boat you can berth in the Lappo marina. You can also reach Lappo by booking a place on Ålandstrafiken’s archipelago ferries. From mainland Åland the ferry departs from Hummelvik/Vårdö, and from the Finnish mainland from Osnäs/Kustavi.
Our island is roughly 8 square kilometres and has around 30 residents. In the whole of Brändö municipality we are about 460 people
On Lappo you’ll find a convenience store, a library, a marina, a museum, a restaurant (open in summer), a community centre, a guest house, a boule course, a disc golf course and a hiking trail.

Special exhibition in Skärgårdsmuseet
This summer we have a special exhibition showing photos from Herzogin Cecilie, and marine paintings on sail canvas
Season change
Peak season is over, so now we have plenty of room in the marina. The convenience store is open Tuesday 16-18, Thursday and Saturday 10-13.
